The unprecedented disruption of the pandemic made it clear that organizations need to be prepared to weather today's environment of volatility, uncertainty, change, and ambiguity for the long haul. That can feel like a daunting task when our organizations, teams, and people are experiencing record-high stress, fatigue, and burnout.

Research is showing that resilience is key to maintaining high performance amid pressure, setbacks, challenge, and change. Put simply, resilience is our capacity to bounce back; to adapt positively, and in doing so, cultivate a thriving workforce and achieve organizational high-performance.

The best news: resilience is not an innate characteristic, but rather a skill that can be strengthened. In this session, Jennifer Collins will answer the question: How do we build resilience in the people and teams who are leading our businesses through today’s VUCA environment? After all, organizations don’t transform, people do; building resilience in individuals builds the collective resilience of an organization.

This presentation will introduce leading research in the field of occupational resilience and invite our guests to explore the topic through a resilience self-assessment. The insights gained will enable guests not only to build their own resilience, but also to identify how they can build the ‘fuel tank’ of resilience in their teams and organizations’ cultures.
